Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: Section 1. (Effective from passage) (a) The Liquor Control Commission 1 shall study the potential impact of extending alcoholic liquor service 2 hours at gaming and other establishments regulated pursuant to title 30 3 of the general statutes and located not more than fifty miles from any 4 border of this state. 5 (b) Not later than January 1, 2022, the Liquor Control Commission 6 shall, in accordance with the provisions of section 11-4a of the general 7 statutes, report its findings pursuant to the study required by subsection 8 (a) of this section to the joint standing committee of the General 9 Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to general law.10 This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections: Section 1 from passage New section GL Joint Favorable Subst.
