AN ACT APPROPRIATING STATE FUNDS FOR MEN TAL HEALTH
SERVICES AND HOUSING .
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
Section 1. (Effective July 1, 2021) The sum of one million five hundred 1
thousand dollars is appropriated to the Department of Mental Health 2
and Addiction Services, from the General Fund, for the fiscal year 3
ending June 30, 2022, for the expansion of residential services for young 4
adults in all six regions of the state. 5
Sec. 2. (Effective July 1, 2021) The sum of one million dollars is 6
appropriated to the Department of Mental Health and Addiction 7
Services, from the General Fund, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2022, 8
for the hiring of additional coordinators of housing in all six regions of 9
the state. 10
Sec. 3. (Effective July 1, 2021) The sum of four million dollars is 11
appropriated to the Department of Mental Health and Addiction 12
Services, from the General Fund, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2022, 13
for the expansion of respite services and other short-term stabilization 14 Raised Bill No. 6532

services for individuals with substance abuse and other mental health 15
conditions to all six regions of the state. 16
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
sections:
Section 1 July 1, 2021 New section
Sec. 2 July 1, 2021 New section
Sec. 3 July 1, 2021 New section
