| 24 | 24 | | Section 1. (Effective from passage) (a) For the purposes of this section: 1 |

| 25 | 25 | | (1) "Office of Health Strategy" means the Office of Health Strategy 2 |

| 26 | 26 | | established under section 19a-754a of the general statutes; and 3 |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | (2) "Veteran" has the same meaning as provided in section 27-103 of 4 |

| 29 | 29 | | (b) The Office of Health Strategy shall, within available 6 |

| 31 | 31 | | (1) Study methods to improve home health care for veterans in this 8 |

| 32 | 32 | | state, including, but not limited to, methods to increase access to, 9 |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | provide greater coverage for and improve the quality of home health 10 |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | care for veterans in this state; and 11 |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | (2) Develop recommendations to improve home health care for 12 |
|---|

|---|
| 45 | 45 | | cognizance of matters relating to insurance. Such report shall contain 17 |

| 46 | 46 | | the results of the study conducted, and recommendations developed, by 18 |
|---|
| 47 | 47 | | the Office of Health Strategy pursuant to subsection (b) of this section. 19 |

| 48 | 48 | | This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following |
