22 | 21 | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General | |

25 | 24 | Section 1. (Effective from passage) There is established a working group 1 | |
26 | 25 | to study the laws of criminal procedure of this state. Such study shall 2 | |
27 | 26 | include, at a minimum, a review of title 54 of the general statutes for the 3 | |
28 | 27 | purpose of recommending legislative changes. The working group shall 4 | |
29 | 28 | consist of the following members who have expertise in laws of criminal 5 | |
30 | 29 | procedure: (1) One appointed by the speaker of the House of 6 | |
31 | 30 | Representatives; (2) one appointed by the president pro tempore of the 7 | |
32 | 31 | Senate; (3) one appointed by the majority leader of the House of 8 | |
33 | 32 | Representatives; (4) one appointed by the majority leader of the Senate; 9 | |
34 | 33 | (5) one appointed by the minority leader of the House of 10 | |
35 | 34 | Representatives; and (6) one appointed by the minority leader of the 11 | |
36 | 35 | Senate. Not later than January 1, 2022, the working group shall submit 12 | |
