1818 AN ACT CONCERNING LONG -TERM CARE INSURANCE.
1919 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2020 Assembly convened:

2222 That title 38a of the general statutes be amended to: (1) Cap certain 1
2323 long-term care insurance premium rate increases at the rate of inflation 2
2424 for long-term care insurance policies for three years; (2) require an 3
2525 insurer that purchases a group long-term care insurance policy from 4
2626 another insurer to honor the contractual obligations of the transferring 5
2727 insurer to the consumer as determined on the date that the transferring 6
2828 insurer delivered or issued such policy to the consumer; and (3) 7
2929 establish the Consumer Advocacy Group Regarding Long-Term Care 8
3030 Insurance to advise the General Assembly regarding long-term care 9
3131 insurance. 10
3232 Statement of Purpose:
