9	14		AN ACT CONCERNING TR AVEL INSURANCE AND S UICIDE.
10	15		Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
11	16		Assembly convened:

13		-	Section 1. (NEW) (Effective October 1, 2021) No insurance company
14		-	shall issue a travel insurance policy in this state on or after October 1,
15		-	2021, that excludes coverage because the insured's spouse, child,
16		-	dependent relative who resides in the insured's household or traveling
17		-	companion dies by suicide. For the purposes of this section, "travel
18		-	insurance" has the same meaning as provided in section 38a-398 of the
19		-	general statutes.
