23 | 23 | That the general statutes be amended to prohibit the use of a class B 1 | |
24 | 24 | firefighting foam that contains an intentionally added perfluoroalkyl or 2 | |
25 | 25 | polyfluoroalkyl substance in any amount for any purpose and require 3 | |
26 | 26 | the Department of Public Health to develop and implement a plan for 4 | |
27 | 27 | (1) testing water supply sources, water supplies and bottled water for 5 | |
28 | 28 | contamination by perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances, and 6 | |
29 | 29 | (2) educating the public regarding the potential risks of drinking water 7 | |
