1818 AN ACT CONCERNING THE PROVISION OF OUTPATIENT MENTAL
1919 HEALTH TREATMENT TO MINORS.
2020 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2121 Assembly convened:

2323 That section 19a-14c of the general statutes be amended to (1) 1
2424 eliminate the six-session cap on the provision of mental health treatment 2
2525 to a minor without the consent, notification or involvement of the 3
2626 minor's parent or guardian, and (2) permit the minor's parent or 4
2727 guardian to receive information regarding the provision of mental 5
2828 health treatment to the minor pursuant to confidentiality guidelines set 6
2929 forth in the general statutes. 7
3030 Statement of Purpose:
3131 To promote the provision of confidential mental health services for
