1818 AN ACT REDUCING PARTICIPANT COSTS AND INCREASING ASSET
1919 LIMITS FOR THE CONNECTICUT HOME -CARE PROGRAM FOR THE
2020 ELDERLY.
2121 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2222 Assembly convened:

2424 That section 17b-342 of the general statutes be amended to: (1) 1
2525 Decrease the amount participants in the Connecticut home-care 2
2626 program for the elderly must pay for their care, and (2) expand asset 3
2727 limits for such program to forty thousand dollars for individuals and 4
2828 sixty-five thousand dollars for married couples. 5
2929 Statement of Purpose:
3030 To reduce participant costs and expand eligibility for home care services
3131 for persons sixty-five years of age or older.
