AN ACT REDUCING PARTICIPANT COSTS AND INCREASING ASSET 
LIMITS FOR THE CONNECTICUT HOME -CARE PROGRAM FOR THE 
ELDERLY. 
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General 
Assembly convened: 
 
That section 17b-342 of the general statutes be amended to: (1) 1 
Decrease the amount participants in the Connecticut home-care 2 
program for the elderly must pay for their care, and (2) expand asset 3 
limits for such program to forty thousand dollars for individuals and 4 
sixty-five thousand dollars for married couples. 5 
Statement of Purpose:   
To reduce participant costs and expand eligibility for home care services 
for persons sixty-five years of age or older.
