1818 AN ACT ESTABLISHING A PUBLIC -PRIVATE PARTNERSHIP TO
1919 DELIVER COST-EFFECTIVE HUMAN SERVICES AND DETER FRAUD.
2020 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2121 Assembly convened:

2323 That the general statutes be amended to establish a partnership 1
2424 between state human service agencies and private providers to (1) 2
2525 improve delivery of human services to low-income persons, elderly 3
2626 persons and persons with disabilities, (2) reduce the cost of such 4
2727 services, and (3) foster fraud investigations to uncover ineligible persons 5
2828 wrongfully receiving public assistance. 6
2929 Statement of Purpose:
3030 To improve the cost-effective delivery of human services and make sure
3131 such services are given only to those in need.
