2020 AN ACT CONCERNING THE DEVELOPMENT OF A CONNECTICUT
2121 INDUSTRIAL HISTORY TRAIL.
2222 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2323 Assembly convened:

25-Section 1. (NEW) (Effective October 1, 2021) The Department of 1
26-Economic and Community Development shall, within available 2
27-appropriations, establish a Connecticut industrial history trail to 3
28-identify and market historical industrial sites throughout the state. The 4
29-department shall develop criteria to identify major historical industrial 5
30-sites, associated companies and museums concerning the state's 6
31-industrial history. The department shall develop a program that 7
32-promotes the industrial history trail, including, but not limited to, (1) 8
33-directional and other signage and notices pertaining to the sites 9
34-identified by the department, and (2) an industrial history trail Internet 10
35-web site. 11
36-This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
37-sections:
