AN ACT CONCERNING THE PRIORITIZATION OF IN -STATE
STUDENTS AT PUBLIC INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER EDUCATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 10a of the general statutes be amended to require public 1
institutions of higher education to give priority to in-state students for 2
admission and to allocate state funding for in-state students prior to 3
applying such funds for any other purpose. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To require public institutions of higher education to prioritize in-state
students for admission and for the allocation of state funds.
