20	23		AN ACT WAIVING CERTA IN FEES FOR VETERANS FOR
21	24		OCCUPATIONAL LICENSU RE.
22	25		Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
23	26		Assembly convened:

25	28		Section 1. (Effective from passage) (a) As used in this section, "veteran" 1
26	29		has the same meaning as provided in section 27-103 of the general 2
27	30		statutes. 3
28	31		(b) Notwithstanding any provision of the general statutes, each 4
29	32		department head, as defined in section 4-5 of the general statutes, shall 5
30	33		waive the fee, for a veteran, for the (1) application, (2) initial license, (3) 6
31	34		initial permit, (4) initial registration, or (5) other similar initial 7
32	35		credential, required under any provision of the general statutes for 8
33	36		occupational licensure. 9
34	37		(c) Not later than January 1, 2022, each department head shall submit 10
35	38		a list, in accordance with the provisions of section 11-4a of the general 11
36	39		statutes, to the General Assembly of all fees waived by such department 12
37	40		head under this section and all corresponding statutory and regulatory 13
