2023 AN ACT WAIVING CERTA IN FEES FOR VETERANS FOR
2124 OCCUPATIONAL LICENSU RE.
2225 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General

2528 Section 1. (Effective from passage) (a) As used in this section, "veteran" 1
2629 has the same meaning as provided in section 27-103 of the general 2
2730 statutes. 3
2831 (b) Notwithstanding any provision of the general statutes, each 4
2932 department head, as defined in section 4-5 of the general statutes, shall 5
3033 waive the fee, for a veteran, for the (1) application, (2) initial license, (3) 6
3134 initial permit, (4) initial registration, or (5) other similar initial 7
3235 credential, required under any provision of the general statutes for 8
3336 occupational licensure. 9
3437 (c) Not later than January 1, 2022, each department head shall submit 10
3538 a list, in accordance with the provisions of section 11-4a of the general 11
3639 statutes, to the General Assembly of all fees waived by such department 12
3740 head under this section and all corresponding statutory and regulatory 13
