AN ACT WAIVING CERTA IN FEES FOR VETERANS FOR
OCCUPATIONAL LICENSU RE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
Section 1. (Effective from passage) (a) As used in this section, "veteran" 1
has the same meaning as provided in section 27-103 of the general 2
statutes. 3
(b) Notwithstanding any provision of the general statutes, each 4
department head, as defined in section 4-5 of the general statutes, shall 5
waive the fee, for a veteran, for the (1) application, (2) initial license, (3) 6
initial permit, (4) initial registration, or (5) other similar initial 7
credential, required under any provision of the general statutes for 8
occupational licensure. 9
(c) Not later than January 1, 2022, each department head shall submit 10
a list, in accordance with the provisions of section 11-4a of the general 11
statutes, to the General Assembly of all fees waived by such department 12
head under this section and all corresponding statutory and regulatory 13

This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
sections:
