1919 AN ACT AUTHORIZING BONDS OF THE STATE FOR CERTAIN
2020 PROJECTS ON TRIBAL LANDS.
2121 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2222 Assembly convened:

2424 That the State Bond Commission be empowered to authorize the 1
2525 issuance of bonds of the state in accordance with section 3-20 of the 2
2626 general statutes, in principal amounts not exceeding in the aggregate 3
2727 one million two hundred fifty thousand dollars, the proceeds of which 4
2828 shall be used by the Department of Energy and Environmental 5
2929 Protection, with one million dollars of said proceeds used for the 6
3030 purpose of construction of a community well, a septic system and a road 7
3131 allowing access to and use of sacred sites on the Eastern Pequot 8
3232 reservation, and two hundred fifty thousand dollars of said proceeds 9
3333 used for construction of a retaining wall to remove overflow waters 10
3434 from a hydro plant near the historical burial grounds of the 11
3535 Schaghticoke Tribal Nation. 12
3636 Statement of Purpose:
3737 To provide funding for upkeep as required on tribal lands.
