21 | 21 | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General | |
22 | 22 | Assembly convened: | |

24 | 24 | That the general statutes be amended to provide that any person 1 | |
25 | 25 | licensed to practice medicine and surgery under the provisions of 2 | |
26 | 26 | chapter 370 of the general statutes, who, voluntarily and gratuitously 3 | |
27 | 27 | and other than in the course of such person's employment or practice, 4 | |
28 | 28 | renders emergency medical assistance in connection with the law 5 | |
29 | 29 | enforcement duties of a state, regional or municipal special weapons 6 | |
30 | 30 | and tactics team, shall not be liable to any person assisted for civil 7 | |
31 | 31 | damages for any personal injuries that result from acts or omissions by 8 | |
32 | 32 | such physician in rendering emergency medical assistance, which may 9 | |
33 | 33 | constitute ordinary negligence. 10 | |

36 | 36 | accompanies and assists a state, regional or municipal SWAT team. |
