AN ACT CONCERNING THE DEVELOPMENT OF A PLAN TO
PROMOTE OPPORTUNITIES IN THE TRADES THAT ARE AVAILABLE
TO STUDENTS IN THE STATE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 10 of the general statutes be amended to require the 1
Commissioner of Education to develop a plan to (1) provide information 2
to high school students about the opportunities that exist in the trades, 3
(2) coordinate with the Labor Department's office of apprenticeship 4
training, and (3) support those students who are interested in exploring 5
such opportunities in the trades. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To promote opportunities in the trades to Connecticut students.
