1919 AN ACT CONCERNING ABSENTEE BALLOTS.
2020 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2121 Assembly convened:

2323 That title 9 of the general statutes be amended to (1) specify that 1
2424 absentee ballots may only be counted on the day of an election, (2) 2
2525 provide consistency across all municipalities as to pre-election day 3
2626 processing of absentee ballots, and (3) allow the registrars of voters to 4
2727 contact electors for the purpose of curing unsigned absentee ballot 5
2828 envelopes. 6
2929 Statement of Purpose:
3030 To specify that absentee ballots may only be counted on election day,
3131 provide consistency among towns as to pre-election processing of such
3232 ballots and allow for the curing of unsigned absentee ballot envelopes.
