| 21 | 21 | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General | |

| 24 | 24 | That the general statutes be amended to (1) provide that, prior to 1 | |
| 25 | 25 | receiving and being able to cast a ballot at the polling place, each elector 2 | |
| 26 | 26 | shall present to the official checker or checkers a current and valid photo 3 | |
| 27 | 27 | identification, which identification clearly displays such elector's name 4 | |
| 28 | 28 | and residential address, and (2) establish a program for waiving the fee 5 | |
| 29 | 29 | associated with obtaining, for voting purposes, a motor vehicle 6 | |
