Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: Section 1. Subsection (l) of section 17b-179 of the general statutes is 1 repealed and the following is substituted in lieu thereof (Effective July 1, 2 2021): 3 (l) The Office of Child Support Services shall arrange to provide a 4 single centralized automated system for the reporting of collections on 5 all accounts established for the collection of all IV-D support orders. 6 Such reporting shall be made available to the Family Support Magistrate 7 Division and to all state agencies which have a cooperative agreement 8 with the IV-D agency. Such automated system shall include a state case 9 registry which complies with federal law and regulations. The state case 10 registry shall contain information on each support order established or 11 modified in this state. [The Office of Child Support Services, utilizing 12 information contained in the state case registry, shall establish, maintain 13 and periodically update a list of all delinquent child support obligors. 14 The list shall, at a minimum, contain the name, residential address and 15 Raised Bill No. 854 LCO 2676 {\\PRDFS1\SCOUSERS\FORZANOF\WS\2021SB-00854- R01-SB.docx } 2 of 2 amount of the delinquent child support owed by a child support 16 obligor, exclusive of any amount of child support owed for which an 17 appeal is pending. The Office of Child Support Services shall publish on 18 the Department of Social Services' Internet web site, the names, 19 residential addresses and amounts of delinquent child support owed by 20 the one hundred individuals having the highest delinquent child 21 support obligations. For purposes of this subsection, "delinquent child 22 support obligor" means an obligor who (1) owes overdue child support, 23 accruing after the entry of a court order, in an amount which exceeds 24 ninety days of periodic payments on a current child support or 25 arrearage payment order, or (2) has failed to make court ordered 26 medical or dental insurance coverage available within ninety days of the 27 issuance of a court order or fails to maintain such coverage pursuant to 28 a court order for a period of ninety days.] 29 This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections: Section 1 July 1, 2021 17b-179(l) HS Joint Favorable
