AN ACT REQUIRING THE STUDY OF ENERGY SOU RCES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
Section 1. (Effective July 1, 2021) The Commissioner of Energy and 1
Environmental Protection shall conduct a study to determine whether 2
policy and procedural changes within the Department of Energy and 3
Environmental Protection may increase the effectiveness of energy 4
sources utilized by the state. The commissioner shall report, in 5
accordance with the provisions of section 11-4a of the general statutes, 6
the findings of such study to the joint standing committee of the General 7
Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to energy on or before 8
January 1, 2022. 9
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
sections:

Statement of Purpose:
To require the Commissioner of Energy and Environmental Protection
to conduct a study to determine whether policy and procedural changes
within the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection may
increase the effectiveness of energy sources utilized by the state.
