| 24 | 24 | Section 1. (Effective July 1, 2021) The Commissioner of Energy and 1 | |
| 25 | 25 | Environmental Protection shall conduct a study to determine whether 2 | |
| 26 | 26 | policy and procedural changes within the Department of Energy and 3 | |
| 27 | 27 | Environmental Protection may increase the effectiveness of energy 4 | |
| 28 | 28 | sources utilized by the state. The commissioner shall report, in 5 | |
| 29 | 29 | accordance with the provisions of section 11-4a of the general statutes, 6 | |
| 30 | 30 | the findings of such study to the joint standing committee of the General 7 | |
| 31 | 31 | Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to energy on or before 8 | |
| 32 | 32 | January 1, 2022. 9 | |
