1414 AN ACT CONCERNING FE ES FOR CERTIFIED COPIES OF VITAL
1515 RECORDS SOUGHT IN CO NNECTION WITH THE SO LDIERS,
1616 SAILORS AND MARINES FUND.
1717 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
1818 Assembly convened:

2020 Section 1. Subsection (c) of section 7-74 of the general statutes is 1
2121 repealed and the following is substituted in lieu thereof (Effective October 2
2222 1, 2021): 3
2323 (c) (1) The fee for one certified copy of a certificate of death for any 4
2424 deceased person who was a veteran, as defined in subsection (a) of 5
2525 section 27-103, shall be waived when such copy is requested by a 6
2626 spouse, child or parent of such deceased veteran. 7
2727 (2) The fee for a certified copy of any vital record shall be waived 8
2828 when such copy is requested by a person in connection with an 9
2929 application for aid from the Soldiers, Sailors and Marines Fund, as 10
3030 established under section 27-138, provided such person presents a copy 11
3131 of the application for aid from said fund at the time of requesting such 12
3232 waiver. 13
3333 This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
3434 sections:
