9	20		AN ACT CONCERNING RE CYCLED CONTENT FOR P RODUCTS
10	21		SOLD IN CONNECTICUT.
11	22		Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
12	23		Assembly convened:

14		-	Section 1. (Effective from passage) Not later than December 1, 2022, the
15		-	Commissioner of Energy and Environmental Protection, in consultation
16		-	with retailers, manufacturers, recycling businesses in the state and
17		-	regional organizations such as the Northeast Recycling Council, shall
18		-	submit to the Governor and the joint standing committee of the General
19		-	Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to the environment
20		-	recommendations for recycled content requirements for products sold
21		-	in the state and for multi-state coordination in the development of such
22		-	recycled content standards. In developing such recommendations, the
23		-	commissioner shall consider recycled content standards from other
24		-	states and jurisdictions.
	25	+	Section 1. (NEW) (Effective from passage) Not later than December 1, 1
