AN ACT ESTABLISHING A MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGY
WORKING GROUP.

Explanation
The bill establishes a manufacturing technology working group to
develop a strategic plan to integrate product development and
production processes for manufacturers in the state.
Not later than March 15, 2022, the working group shall submit a
report to the commerce committee. Such report shall identify any
barriers to accomplishing the goals. The working group shall submit a
strategic plan to the commerce committee that includes data, findings
and legislative proposals to accomplish the goals. The working group
shall terminate on the date it submits such report or October 1, 2022,
whichever is later.
This bill has no fiscal impact for members of working groups as PA
17-236 prohibits transportation allowances.
