20+AN ACT CONCERNING RE GIONAL COOPERATION A MONG SCHOOL

1622 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
1723 Assembly convened:

1925 Section 1. Section 10-33 of the general statutes is repealed and the 1
2026 following is substituted in lieu thereof (Effective July 1, 2021): 2
2127 Any local board of education which does not maintain a [high school] 3
2228 school in which instruction is offered for grades kindergarten to twelve, 4
2329 inclusive, or any combination of such grades, shall designate a [high] 5
2430 school in another school district, approved by the State Board of 6
2531 Education, as the school which any child under the jurisdiction of such 7
2632 local board of education may attend, [who has completed an elementary 8
2733 school course,] and such board of education shall pay to the local or 9
2834 regional board of education for such other school district the tuition of 10
2935 such child [residing with a parent or guardian in such school district 11
3036 and attending such high school] attending or in order for such child to 12
3137 attend school in such other school district. 13
3238 Sec. 2. Subsection (j) of section 10-266aa of the general statutes is 14
