RESOLUTION APPROVING THE SETTLEMENT AGRE EMENT IN
ROBERT BARFIELD, ET AL. V. ANGEL QUIROS, IN HIS OFFICIAL
CAPACITY AS COMMISSI ONER, CONNECTICUT DE PARTMENT OF
CORRECTION.
Resolved by the Senate:
That the provisions of the settlement agreement in the action Robert 1
Barfield, et al. v. Angel Quiros, in his official capacity as Commissioner, 2
Connecticut Department of Correction, United States District Court of 3
Connecticut, Civil Action No. 3:18-CV-1198 (MPS), dated November 6, 4
2020, requiring expenditure from the General Fund budget in excess of 5
two million five hundred thousand dollars and submitted by the 6
Attorney General to this Assembly for approval in accordance with 7
section 3-125a of the general statutes, are approved. 8
