2020 AN ACT CONCERNING MONEYS FOR STATE MILITARY MORALE,
2121 WELFARE AND RECREATION PROGRAMS.
2222 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General

2525 Section 1. Section 27-19b of the general statutes is repealed and the 1
2626 following is substituted in lieu thereof (Effective July 1, 2022): 2
2727 There is established an account to be known as the ["Army National 3
2828 Guard] "Military Department state morale, welfare and recreation 4
2929 account" which shall be a separate, nonlapsing account within the 5
3030 General Fund. The account shall contain any moneys required by law to 6
3131 be deposited in the account, which shall include, but not be limited to, 7
3232 proceeds of state military morale, welfare and recreation programs and 8
3333 gifts, grants and donations from public or private sources. Moneys in 9
3434 the account shall be expended by the Adjutant General for the purposes 10
3535 of operating state military morale, welfare and recreation programs. Not 11
3636 later than August 1, 2022, and annually thereafter, the Adjutant General 12
3737 shall submit a report to the Secretary of the Office of Policy and 13
3838 Management concerning deposits into and expenditures from the 14
