9		-	AN ACT CONCERNING THE CONVEYANCE OF A PARCEL OF
10		-	STATE LAND IN THE TOWN OF ROCKY HILL.
	21	+	AN ACT CONCERNING THE CONVEYANCE OF A PARCEL OF STATE
	22	+	LAND IN THE TOWN OF ROCKY HILL.
11	23		Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
12	24		Assembly convened:

14		-	Section 1. (Effective from passage) (a) Notwithstanding any provision
15		-	of the general statutes, the Commissioner of Transportation shall convey
16		-	to the town of Rocky Hill a parcel of land located in the town of Rocky
17		-	Hill, at a cost equal to the fair market value of the property, as
18		-	determined by the average of the appraisals of two independent
19		-	appraisers selected by the commissioner, plus the administrative costs
20		-	of making such conveyance. Said parcel of land has an area of
21		-	approximately 5.3 acres and is identified as the parcel of land located at
22		-	1090 Maple Street and is further identified as "RELEASE AREA" on a
23		-	map entitled "Compilation Plan, Town of Rocky Hill, Map Showing
24		-	Land Released to ____ by the State of Connecticut Department of
25		-	Transportation, Interstate Route 291, scale 1"=40', August 2021, Scott A.
26		-	Hill, P.E., Chief Engineer-Bureau of Engineering and Construction". The
27		-	precise area of the parcel to be conveyed shall be determined by the
28		-	Department of Transportation. The conveyance shall be subject to the
29		-	approval of the State Properties Review Board.
30		-	(b) The State Properties Review Board shall complete its review of the
31		-	conveyance of said parcel of land not later than thirty days after it Senate Bill No. 466

36		-	The land shall remain under the care and control of said department
37		-	until a conveyance is made in accordance with the provisions of this
38		-	section. The State Treasurer shall execute and deliver any deed or
39		-	instrument necessary for a conveyance under this section. The
40		-	Commissioner of Transportation shall have the sole responsibility for all
41		-	other incidents of such conveyance. Any funds received by said
42		-	department from a sale of said parcel in accordance with this section
43		-	shall be transferred to the State Treasurer for deposit in the Special
44		-	Transportation Fund.
