RESOLUTION APPROVING THE SUPERSEDING SETTLEMENT
AGREEMENT IN ROBERT BARFIELD, ET AL. V. ANGEL QUIROS, IN
HIS OFFICIAL CAPACITY AS COMMISSIONER, CONNECTICUT
DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTION.
Resolved by the Senate:
That the provisions of the superseding settlement agreement in the 1
action Robert Barfield, et al. v. Angel Quiros, in his official capacity as 2
Commissioner, Connecticut Department of Correction, United States 3
District Court of Connecticut, Civil Action No. 3:18-CV-1198 (MPS), 4
dated March 11, 2022, requiring expenditure from the General Fund 5
budget in excess of two million five hundred thousand dollars and 6
submitted by the Attorney General to this Assembly for approval in 7
accordance with section 3-125a of the general statutes, are approved.8
