| 25 | 25 | That the general statutes be amended to (1) index state funding rates 1 | |
| 26 | 26 | for nonprofit providers of health and human services to inflation rates, 2 | |
| 27 | 27 | and (2) require periodic legislative review of such rates to ensure 3 | |
| 28 | 28 | adequate resources for such providers and access to their services. 4 | |

| 30 | 30 | To ensure that state funding for nonprofit providers of health and | |
| 31 | 31 | human services covers their costs, adjusted for inflation, and provides | |
| 32 | 32 | access by state residents to such services. |
