AN ACT INDEXING STATE FUNDING FOR NONPROFIT PROVIDERS
OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES TO INFLATION RATES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to (1) index state funding rates 1
for nonprofit providers of health and human services to inflation rates, 2
and (2) require periodic legislative review of such rates to ensure 3
adequate resources for such providers and access to their services. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To ensure that state funding for nonprofit providers of health and
human services covers their costs, adjusted for inflation, and provides
access by state residents to such services.
