Explanation
The bill expands the Police Officer Standards and Training Council
(POST) by two members, resulting in no fiscal impact to the state as the
council members of POST are not compensated.
House "A" changes the appointing authority for certain members of
POST and strikes sections 2 and 3 of the underlying bill, resulting in no
fiscal impact.
