| 23 | 23 | Section 1. Subsection (h) of Section 18-81jj of the general statutes is 1 | |
| 24 | 24 | repealed and the following is substituted in lieu thereof (Effective from 2 | |

| 26 | 26 | (h) (1) A majority of the voting members appointed to the Correction 4 | |
| 27 | 27 | Advisory Committee shall constitute a quorum, which shall be 5 | |
| 28 | 28 | necessary for the committee to conduct business. A majority vote of [the] 6 | |
| 29 | 29 | such members present shall be required for action of the committee. 7 | |
| 30 | 30 | (2) Any member of the committee shall be a nonvoting member 8 | |
| 31 | 31 | during any period of such member's employment by the Department of 9 | |
