1818 AN ACT CONCERNING ELECTRONIC TICKETING AND TICKET
1919 RESALE MARKETPLACES.
2020 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2121 Assembly convened:

2323 That the general statutes be amended to provide that: (1) The 1
2424 operator of an entertainment ticketing marketplace doing business in 2
2525 this state shall (A) clearly disclose to a consumer, before the consumer 3
2626 purchases a ticket on such marketplace, any fee such operator will 4
2727 charge to the consumer for such purchase, and (B) not charge a delivery 5
2828 fee for any ticket provided to a consumer by electronic means; and (2) 6
2929 the operator of an entertainment ticket resale marketplace doing 7
3030 business in this state shall (A) disclose the original price of a ticket resold 8
3131 on such marketplace, and (B) adhere to professional standards by, 9
3232 among other things, maintaining a physical place of business. 10
3333 Statement of Purpose:
3434 To impose various duties on operators of entertainment ticketing
3535 marketplaces and entertainment ticket resale marketplaces doing
3636 business in this state.
