AN ACT CONCERNING ELECTRONIC TICKETING AND TICKET 
RESALE MARKETPLACES. 
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General 
Assembly convened: 
 
That the general statutes be amended to provide that: (1) The 1 
operator of an entertainment ticketing marketplace doing business in 2 
this state shall (A) clearly disclose to a consumer, before the consumer 3 
purchases a ticket on such marketplace, any fee such operator will 4 
charge to the consumer for such purchase, and (B) not charge a delivery 5 
fee for any ticket provided to a consumer by electronic means; and (2) 6 
the operator of an entertainment ticket resale marketplace doing 7 
business in this state shall (A) disclose the original price of a ticket resold 8 
on such marketplace, and (B) adhere to professional standards by, 9 
among other things, maintaining a physical place of business. 10 
Statement of Purpose:   
To impose various duties on operators of entertainment ticketing 
marketplaces and entertainment ticket resale marketplaces doing 
business in this state.
