13	21		Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
14	22		Assembly convened:

16	24		Section 1. Subdivisions (113) and (114) of subsection (a) of section 10-1
17	25		29a of the 2024 supplement to the general statutes are repealed and the 2
18	26		following is substituted in lieu thereof (Effective from passage): 3
19	27		(113) The Governor shall proclaim September fourteenth of each year 4
20	28		to be Free Enterprise Day, to recognize the innovative spirit of 5
21	29		entrepreneurs and the contributions that [free enterprise has] they have 6
22	30		made to the state's economy. Suitable exercises may be held in the State 7
23	31		Capitol and elsewhere as the Governor designates for the observance of 8
24	32		the day. 9
25	33		(114) The Governor shall proclaim September seventeenth of each 10
26	34		year to be Constitution Day, to commemorate the formation and signing 11
27	35		of the United States Constitution, and to recognize Connecticut as 12
28	36		having the first written constitution of a democratic government. 13

39	48		as Parkinson's Awareness Day, to raise awareness of the neurological 20

42	51		Governor designates for the observance of the day. 23
43	52		(NEW) (119) The Governor shall proclaim April twenty-sixth of each 24
44	53		year as Tuskegee Airmen Day, to recognize the significant contribution 25
45	54		of the first African American military fighter pilots in American history 26
46	55		who served during World War II, and whose impressive performance 27
47	56		earned them more than one hundred fifty Distinguished Flying Crosses. 28
48	57		Suitable exercises may be held in the State Capitol and elsewhere as the 29
49	58		Governor designates for the observance of the day. 30
50	59		(NEW) (120) The Governor shall proclaim May fifth of each year as 31
51		-	Red Dress Day, to commemorate missing or murdered indigenous 32

55		-	nineteenth of each year as Face Equity Week, and May nineteenth of 36
56		-	each year as Face Equity Day, to recognize those with craniofacial 37

58		-	elsewhere as the Governor designates for the observance of the week 39
