18	20		AN ACT CONCERNING A STUDY OF STATE REVENUE
19	21		COLLECTIONS.
20	22		Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
21	23		Assembly convened:

23	25		Section 1. (Effective from passage) The Commissioner of Revenue 1
24	26		Services shall study the Department of Revenue Services' collections 2
25	27		processes to identify legislative and programmatic changes that may be 3
26	28		made to improve efficiency and reduce administrative costs of such 4
27	29		collections. Not later than January 1, 2025, the commissioner shall 5
28	30		submit a report, in accordance with the provisions of section 11-4a of the 6
29	31		general statutes, on the commissioner's findings and recommendations 7
30	32		to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having 8
31	33		cognizance of matters relating to finance, revenue and bonding. 9
32	34		This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
