1419 AN ACT CONCERNING A STUDY OF MEDICAL ASSISTANCE FOR
15-CERTAIN LEGALLY PRESENT NONCITIZENS.

1621 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General

1924 Section 1. (Effective from passage) The Commissioner of Social Services, 1
2025 in consultation with the executive director of the Office of Health 2
2126 Strategy, shall study the feasibility, costs and benefits of providing 3
22-medical assistance to certain legally present noncitizens who would 4
23-have qualified for a program providing such assistance before the 5
24-program was closed to new applicants in 2011, pursuant to section 17b-6
25-257b of the general statutes. Not later than January 1, 2025, the 7

28+would have qualified for a program providing such assistance before 5
