1220 AN ACT CONCERNING THE PUBLIC AVAILABILITY OF
1321 INFORMATION RELATED TO THE MAINTENANCE OF ELEVATORS.
1422 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
1523 Assembly convened:

1725 Section 1. (NEW) (Effective from passage) Not later than January 1, 1
18-2025, the Commissioner of Administrative Services shall make publicly 2
19-available on the Internet web site of the Department of Administrative 3
20-Services information related to the maintenance of elevators in this state, 4
21-except those located in private residences, that is maintained by the 5
22-department in an electronic database. Such publicly available 6
23-information shall include, but need not be limited to, (1) registration 7
24-information filed with the department pursuant to section 29-194 of the 8
25-general statutes, (2) the date of each inspection by the department 9
26-conducted pursuant to section 29-195 of the general statutes and a copy 10
27-of the department inspector's report for each such inspection, (3) a copy 11
28-of each certificate of operation issued by the department pursuant to 12
26+2025, the Commissioner of Administrative Services shall create and 2
27+maintain a searchable online electronic database on the Internet web site 3
28+of the Department of Administrative Services for purposes of making 4
29+information related to the maintenance of elevators in this state, except 5
30+those located in private residences, publicly available. Such information 6
31+shall include, but need not be limited to, (1) registration information 7
32+filed with the department pursuant to section 29-194 of the general 8
33+statutes, (2) the date of each inspection by the department conducted 9
34+pursuant to section 29-195 of the general statutes and a copy of the 10
