AN ACT CONCERNING MUNICIPAL APPROVAL FOR CERTAIN
NONRESIDENTIAL SOLAR PHOTOVOLTAIC FACILITIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to allow any municipality with 1
two or more existing nonresidential solar photovoltaic facilities located 2
within such municipality to (1) approve or reject subsequent 3
nonresidential solar photovoltaic facilities proposed for construction or 4
installation in such municipality, and (2) impose a moratorium on the 5
construction or installation of such facilities within such municipality. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To allow any municipality with two or more existing nonresidential
solar photovoltaic facilities located within such municipality to (1)
approve or reject subsequent nonresidential solar photovoltaic facilities
proposed for construction or installation in such municipality, and (2)
impose a moratorium on the construction or installation of such facilities
within such municipality.
