| 23 | 23 | That chapter 246 of the general statutes be amended to provide that 1 | |
| 24 | 24 | (1) the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles shall issue "Donate Life" 2 | |
| 25 | 25 | number plates of a design to enhance public awareness of the 3 | |
| 26 | 26 | importance of organ and tissue donations, and (2) a fee shall be charged 4 | |
| 27 | 27 | for the issuance of such number plates to pay the administrative costs of 5 | |
| 28 | 28 | issuing such number plates and provide funding to a nonprofit 6 | |
| 29 | 29 | organization in the state that focuses on organ and tissue donation and 7 | |
