1818 AN ACT CONCERNING TRANSPARENCY AND SUPPORT SYSTEMS
1919 FOR UNDOCUMENTED INDIVIDUALS IN CONNECTICUT.
2020 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2121 Assembly convened:

2323 That the general statutes be amended to increase transparency in 1
2424 Connecticut's justice and mental health systems by mandating the 2
2525 collection of anonymized data on undocumented individuals, 3
2626 including, but not limited to, concerning interactions with court 4
2727 proceedings, outstanding warrants, presence in correctional facilities or 5
2828 use of mental health services. 6
2929 Statement of Purpose:
3030 To enhance transparency, data collection and coordination between
3131 Connecticut's justice and mental health systems to support
3232 undocumented individuals, while ensuring privacy and compliance
3333 with legal frameworks and to enable informed policymaking to address
3434 specific needs and challenges faced by undocumented residents.
