| 25 | 25 | That section 20-204a of the general statutes be amended to require the 1 | |
| 26 | 26 | disclosure of information concerning an investigation into an allegation 2 | |
| 27 | 27 | of wrongdoing by a veterinarian to the owner of the animal that is the 3 | |
| 28 | 28 | subject of such allegation, even if the allegation was made by someone 4 | |
| 29 | 29 | other than such owner, provided such disclosure shall not be required 5 | |
| 30 | 30 | if the allegation is unrelated to the provision of veterinary care to the 6 | |
| 31 | 31 | animal. 7 | |

| 33 | 33 | To require transparency and accountability in investigations of | |
| 34 | 34 | veterinary negligence by ensuring that the owner of an animal that is | |
| 35 | 35 | the subject of an allegation of such negligence is informed about the | |
| 36 | 36 | status and outcome of the investigation. |
