2424 AN ACT CONCERNING THE REMOVAL OF CERTAIN LIMITATIONS
2525 ON THE REEMPLOYMENT OF RETIRED TEACHERS.
2626 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2727 Assembly convened:

2929 That section 10-183v of the general statutes be amended to permit 1
3030 retired teachers to be reemployed in a position that does not require a 2
3131 092 or 093 endorsement by a local or regional board of education 3
3232 without limitations on such retired teacher's duration of employment, 4
3333 the number of hours such retired teacher may work, the salary that such 5
3434 retired teacher may earn, their eligibility in the teachers' retirement 6
3535 system and additional employment benefits offered by such board of 7
3636 education, including health insurance. 8
3737 Statement of Purpose:
3838 To address teacher shortages by removing certain limitations on the
3939 reemployment of retired teachers.
