AN ACT CONCERNING THE REMOVAL OF CERTAIN LIMITATIONS ON THE REEMPLOYMENT OF RETIRED TEACHERS. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That section 10-183v of the general statutes be amended to permit 1 retired teachers to be reemployed in a position that does not require a 2 092 or 093 endorsement by a local or regional board of education 3 without limitations on such retired teacher's duration of employment, 4 the number of hours such retired teacher may work, the salary that such 5 retired teacher may earn, their eligibility in the teachers' retirement 6 system and additional employment benefits offered by such board of 7 education, including health insurance. 8 Statement of Purpose: To address teacher shortages by removing certain limitations on the reemployment of retired teachers.
