21 | 21 | Assembly convened: | |

23 | 23 | That section 10-222m of the general statutes be amended to require 1 | |
24 | 24 | that a special education department representative be included as a 2 | |
25 | 25 | member on the school security and safety committee; and further that 3 | |
26 | 26 | section 10-231 of the general statutes be amended to provide that each 4 | |
27 | 27 | school, in the design and execution of fire drills and crisis response 5 | |
28 | 28 | drills, accommodate the special needs of their students in order for them 6 | |
29 | 29 | to fully, effectively and safely participate in such drills and that such 7 | |
30 | 30 | plans and notice of their participation be shared with their parents or 8 | |
31 | 31 | guardians. 9 | |
