AN ACT CONCERNING COMPLIANCE WITH ENVIRONMENTAL AND
WATER QUALITY REGULATIONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to (1) encourage investments in 1
water infrastructure projects that are required for state and federal 2
regulatory compliance, and (2) authorize a surcharge for certain water 3
infrastructure projects that provide environmental and public health 4
benefits, including, but not limited to, addressing PFAS contamination. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To (1) encourage investments in water infrastructure projects that are
required for state and federal regulatory compliance, and (2) authorize
a surcharge for certain water infrastructure projects that provide
environmental and public health benefits, including, but not limited to,
addressing PFAS contamination.
