3535 AN ACT CONCERNING THE EXPANSION OF THE CRISIS INITIATIVE
3636 PILOT PROGRAM THROUGHOUT THE STATE.
3737 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General

4040 That the general statutes be amended to require that, not later than 1
4141 January 1, 2026, the Division of State Police within the Department of 2
4242 Emergency Services and Public Protection, in conjunction with the 3
4343 Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services, (1) expand 4
4444 throughout the state the pilot program known as the CRISIS Initiative: 5
4545 Connection to Recovery through Intervention, Support and Initiating 6
4646 Services, and (2) at a minimum, include as part of such expanded 7
4747 program components of the pilot program that require training for state 8
4848 police officers, coordination between state police officers and mental 9
